To All GoArticles Contributing Authors:

1.) Design Changes: The overall look of the site has changed to accomodate new features and, most importantly, an expanded category / sub-category structure. More on that below.

2.) Verification: All current author members will be required to verify their GoArticles membership. When you next login to your member account, you will be required to agree to GoArticles' Terms and Conditions before being able to submit, edit or delete articles in your account. If your contact information is inaccurate, we encourage you to update it. Member accounts with inaccurate or incomplete information may be removed in the future.

3.) New Category Structure: The previous GoArticles category structure has been replaced with a new category / sub-category structure. GoArticles now offers 40 main categories and 387 sub-categories.

What this means is that some previous main article categories are now sub-categories and that initially many sub-categories will not have any article content. We strongly recommend that you review the category placement of all your previously submitted articles and, if appropriate, move them to sub-categories more appropriate to your article subject.

4.) Re-Categorizing Your Articles: The procedure to move previously submitted articles to a new category/sub-category is very simple:

a.) Login to your member account.

b.) Click the Edit button beneath any of your previously submitted articles.

c.) On the next "Edit Your Article" page, simply select the Category and Sub Category, using the drop down selectors and click the Save Changes button to re-classify your article.

d.) Repeat the above steps for any or all of your previously submitted articles.

5.) Member Account Interface Changes:

a.) Author Profile: Authors will now be able to upload their photo to the GoArticles server. To do so, click the Browse button next to the Image field in your Profile settings and find the location of your photo on your computer. Click the Change Profile button when done.

b.) Email Address Changes: If you would like to change the email address associated with your member account, you will now be able to do so from your account, using the Change Your Email Address form provided.

6.) Author Showcase: The GoArticles homepage now displays a new section in the right column called "Author Showcase". The condensed author profiles highlighted in this section are linked to the full author profiles and the articles submitted by those authors.

Again, We encourage all authors to update their profiles to gain the maximum benefit from this feature exposure.

7.) Featured Articles: GoArticles Members are now able to purchase premium placement for any of their submitted articles at the top of any GoArticles category or sub-category.

A top article position in a main category will cost $100 for a 2 week placement and top sub-category positions will cost $50 for a 2 week placement.

8.) Related Videos: A search of any article category or sub-category will now display a list of related videos in the left column of the search result pages. Authors who purchase Featured Article placements will also have their articles showcased in the video windows that appear when video icons are clicked by visitors searching a particular category or sub-category.
